For many years, North Queens Fire and Rescue Association has been protecting the lives and property of the citizens of North Queens. Equipped with several modern fire-fighting and rescue vehicles, the Fire Department is ready to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the fire department works closely with 911 operators to deliver effective service to North Queens. Whether the department is fighting fires or conducting a rescue operation, the citizens of North Queens are proud and gratified to have such an organization in their community.
