Miriam Hunt Park is certainly a great place to picnic, but there are other things to do there as well! Occaisionally, on Friday nights in July and August, as part of the Caledonia Summer Festival, Miriam Hunt Park hosts a band. People come from all the local area to hear the music. Why not bring the family along and come up and join the fun?
