If you are looking for a great place to unfold your picnic blanket,
North Queens has several great choices to offer you! If you choose to pay the cost
of admission to
Kejimkujik National Park, the park has a great many wonderful picnicking
sites. However, if you would rather not go into the park, the North Queens area has three
beautiful picnic parks for you to use.
One of our nicest picnic parks is Cameron’s Brook Provincial Picnic Park.
This beautiful park is just off Highway 8 in South Brookfield, and has several picnic tables
to meet your needs. Cameron’s Brook runs right through the park, and Cameron’s Lake
is just a short walk away!
Another local picnic park that you might like to try is the 4H Picnic Park at Harmony
Lake. This small but attractive park, just off Highway 8 near Harmony Mills, offers a
beautiful lake view and two or three picnic tables for your use.
Finally, don’t forget to stop in Caledonia to visit Miriam Hunt Park.
This small park offers several picnic tables, along with a bandstand and some local history
exhibits. It is located right across the road from Caledonia Foodland in Caledonia.
